Day 01: Arrival at Delhi - Shimla
When you arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, you’ll be received by our travel representative. He’ll then escort you to Shimla - the Queen of Hill Stations. It was the summer capital of India during the British Rule. Upon arriving, a check in at the hotel will be made. Thereafter, you can relax and unwind in the coziness of your room.
Day 02: Shimla
Day two will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Henceforth, the entire day will be at your disposal. You can go shopping or explore the mesmerizing hill station. Amongst the attractions, the major ones include Christ Church, St. Michael’s Cathedral, Jakhu Hill, Shimla State Museum, Summer Hill, and Annandale. For dinner and night stay, return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 03: Shimla - Manali
After morning meal, you’ll proceed towards Manali. A short halt will be made at Pandho Dem and Hanogi Mata Temple on the way. On your arrival, make a quick check in at the hotel. The remaining time can be spent at leisure or you can stroll through the Mall Road. Night will be spent at the hotel.
Day 04: Manali
A healthy breakfast will start your day. Soon after, you’ll head on for a city tour of Manali. Most popular tourist attractions are Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashist Kund - famous as Hot Water Springs, Tibetan monasteries and the market. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali
On day five, you’ll have a flavorsome breakfast and proceed for a day trip to Rohtang Pass – the pass is covered with snow round the year. The journey will offer you amazing views of snow-capped hills, tall trees and innumerable cars heading towards the enthralling Rohtang Pass. Located close-by is the Solang Valley, a picturesque spot for capturing views of snow clad glaciers and mountains. Return to Manali will be in the evening, where you can explore the local bazaar of the hill station. For night stay come back to the hotel.
Day 06: Manali - Dharamsala
After morning breakfast, you’ll journey to Dharamsala - home of the Tibetan leader, the Dalai Lama. On your arrival, you’ll observe a strong Tibetan influence in the air since Dalai Lama settled here in 1959, almost a decade after the Chinese invasion of Tibet. Check in at the hotel will be followed by a visit to a monastery at Mcleodganj, close to Dalai Lama’s residence. If time permits, you can also visit the Tibetan monastery, the church of St. John and school complex. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 07: Dharamsala
Begin the day with a wholesome breakfast, after which a sightseeing tour of Dharamsala will follow up. The State Museum, War Memorial, Tapovan, Chinmaya Tapovan Trust, Norbulingka Institute, and Karmapa Temple will be the attractions. As an alternate, you can also pay a visit to a big sect of temples, such as Brajeshwari Temple, Jwalaji Temple and Chintpurni Temple. End the day with a drive back to the hotel for sleepover.
Day 08: Dharamsala - Dalhousie
In the morning, you’ll visit Kangra Fort and the famous Chamundi Devi Temple. Thereafter, you’ll be driven to Dalhousie. Upon arrival, make a check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day will be at your disposal. Spend it at leisure or move out to explore the popular tourist spots, like Subhash Baoli, Jandhri Ghat, Bakrota Hills, St. Andrews Church, St. Patrick’s Church and St. Francis Church. Night will be spent at the hotel.
Day 09: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie
After breakfast at the hotel, a full day excursion to Khajjiar will be made. Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary, Khajjiar Lake and Khajji Naga Shrine are the famous tourist sites. In the evening, you’ll return to Dalhousie for night stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Dalhousie - Chandigarh
Post breakfast, you’ll journey to the most planned city of North India - Chandigarh. When you reach, a check-in at the hotel will be made. The remaining time can be spent at leisure.
Day 11: Chandigarh - Delhi Departure
Breakfast will be arranged at the hotel. This will be followed by a visit to the famous and unique Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake. From here, you’ll travel to Delhi where, upon arrival, you’ll be dropped at the airport to catch a flight for onward journey.
