Day 01: Arrival at Amritsar
On your arrival at Amritsar Airport, you値l be welcomed by our travel executive who値l accompany you to the hotel. Make a check-in at the hotel, freshen up and get ready to visit the Wagah Border - the international border between India and Pakistan. Ceremonies like Beating Retreat and Change of Guard make the place all the more charming and well-known. After witnessing the ceremony, you値l return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Amritsar - Dalhousie
Early in the morning, you値l be driven to Har Mandir Sahib, famously known as the Golden Temple. After paying homage at the Gurudwara, you値l move towards Jallianwala Bagh, a popular name in the Indian history for the massacre of Indians by the British in 1919. From here, your journey will continue to the next destination, Dalhousie - a beautiful hill retreat developed in 1854. When you arrive, a check in at the hotel will be made, after which you can have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 03: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie
The third day of the tour will be spent in the laps of exotic natural beauty with a day excursion to Khajjiar. Better known as the Mini Switzerland of Himachal Pradesh, Khajjiar exudes green pastures and thick forests. Here, you値l be visiting the famous Khajjiar Lake, Golf Course and Khajinag Temple, also known as the Golden Devi Temple. Return to Dalhousie will be in the evening. Dinner and night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Dalhousie - Dharamsala
After morning meal, you値l be driven to Dharamsala, home of the Tibetan leader - the Dalai Lama. The place is housed in the midst of the remarkable Dhauladhar Mountains. On your arrival, you値l make a check-in at the hotel, freshen up and stroll through the busy bazaar town, if time permits. For night stay, you値l return to the hotel.
Day 05: Dharamsala
The day will be spent in touring major tourist attractions of Dharamsala. After breakfast, the tour will begin with the Dalai Lama痴 Temple, followed by Norbulingka Institute of Tibetan Culture, St. John痴 Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Nag Waterfalls and many more. Later return, to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 06: Dharamsala - Amritsar Departure
A wholesome breakfast will be served to you at the hotel. Soon after, you値l be driven to Amritsar. Upon arriving, you値l be dropped at the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
