Day 01: Arrival at Cochin - Athirapally - Munnar
As your plane lands at Cochin International Airport, our representative will receive you and accompany you to Munnar. En-route, a break will be taken at Athirapally Waterfalls. Later, continue to travel to Munnar and make a check-in at the hotel upon arrival. The evening can be spent in relaxation or you can visit the local market. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Munnar
After having breakfast at the hotel, you’ll proceed for a local sightseeing tour. The major destinations covered will include Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum and Power House Waterfalls. At the tea museum, you’ll be demonstrated a documentary on the processing of tea. Evening will be spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Munnar - Kumarakom
Early in the morning after a delectable breakfast, you’ll be driven to Kumarakom. A check in at the hotel will be made, after which a motorboat cruise through the fascinating backwaters will be arranged. At night, return to the hotel and relax.
Day 04: Kumarakom - Cochin Departure
Post a mouth-watering breakfast, you’ll visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is an ideal place for bird watching. Here, you can easily spot cuckoo, owl, egret, waterfowl, darter, moorhen, duck and several other birds. From here, you’ll be transferred to the airport to catch a flight for onward journey.
