Day 01: Arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra - Darjeeling
You値l be greeted by our representative when you arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. From your arrival junction, you値l be driven to Darjeeling. En-route, marvel at the awe-inspiring natural beauty. Make a check-in at the hotel and call it a day.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Before sunrise, you値l travel to Tiger Hill to view the exuberant sight of the rising sun. While returning from the hills, you値l take a small break at Batasia view point and later head towards the hotel for a delicious breakfast. After freshening up, tighten your belt and laces to explore the breathtaking destinations of Darjeeling. Major highlights are Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Everest Museum, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing - Gombu Rock, Japanese Temple - Peace Pagoda and Tea Garden. The remaining time can be spent at leisure. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Darjeeling - Pelling
In the morning, you値l be driven to Pelling. Situated at about 125 km from Darjeeling, Pelling is nestled amidst the Himalayas, offering umpteen wondrous views of the hills, waterfalls and lush greenery. On your arrival, make a check-in at the hotel and satiate your hunger with an appetizing lunch. Thereafter, a city tour will be made where you値l be visiting most popular destinations. These include Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchenjungha Waterfalls, Pemyangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake and Rabdentse Ruins. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Pelling - Gangtok
After breakfast, you値l proceed to Gangtok. On your arrival, make a check in at the hotel or lodge, freshen up, and head on for a local sightseeing tour. Research Institute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery, Dro-dul-Chorten (Stupa), Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, and Orchid Sanctuary are the highly visited places. Post dinner, return to the hotel for sleepover.
Day 05: Gangtok
Day five will begin with an early morning meal, followed by a one-day trip to the most cherished attractions of Gangtok. The Changu Lake, situated at an altitude of 12400 feet, and the famous Baba Mandir, also known as the Memorial of Baba Harbhajan Singh, at a height of 13200 feet, will be the highlights for the day. Capture the beautiful moments in your camera. By evening, you値l be back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Gangtok - Kalimpong
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, you値l leave for Kalimpong. Upon arriving, a check in at the hotel will be made. Henceforth, a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong will follow in the afternoon. You値l be visiting Dr. Graham Homes School, Forest Museum, Deolo Hill, Pine View Nurseries, Durpin Monastery and Mangaldham. Come back to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 07: Kalimpong - New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra Departure
According to the flight / train timings, you値l be dropped at your departing junction. To board the train, you値l be journeyed to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station while for the flight, you値l be transferred to Bagdogra Airport. With this, your tour of the eastern Himalayas comes to an end.
