Day 01: Arrival at Jammu - Katra
You’ll be greeted by our travel executive at Jammu Airport who’ll escort you to the nearest town to the pilgrimage centre of Vaishno Devi - Katra. On your way, you’ll visit the famous Raghunath Temple and Hari Mahal Palace. When you arrive at Katra, you’ll be accommodated in a hotel for night stay.
Day 02: Katra - Vaishno Devi - Katra
Early in the morning, you’ll proceed to the pilgrimage site of Mata Vaishno Devi, where thousands of devotees from across India and the world come to pay their homage. While trekking, you’ll come across numerable picturesque views of the astounding beauty of the snow clad mountains, apart from various Hindu shrines. You’ll first come across the Adhkawari shrine, followed by Vaishno Devi and Bhairav Nath Temple. In the evening, return to Katra and rest.
Day 03: Katra - Patnitop
After having a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be taken to the hill resort of Patnitop. Nestled on the picturesque plateau on the Jammu - Kashmir highway, Patnitop offers numerous awe-inspiring views, exotic picnic spots and peaceful walks. A check in at the hotel will be made upon arrival. The rest of the day will be at your disposal. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Patnitop - Srinagar
Day four will begin with a flavorsome breakfast, after which you’ll proceed to the capital city - Srinagar. The journey will keep you fascinated with beautiful views of the snow-capped Himalayas and lush greenery. A check in will be made at the houseboat. Thereafter, a Shikara ride on the magnificent Dal Lake will be made. In the late evening, you’ll return to the houseboat for dinner and night stay.
Day 05: Srinagar
The day will start with a visit to the famous Shankaracharya Temple, located at a 1,000 feet high hill and dedicated to Lord Shiva. From the temple, you can capture glimpses of panoramic views of the Kashmir Valley. You’ll then head towards Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Garden, Chashme Shahi and Pari Mahal. In the evening, you’ll be driven back to the houseboat for dinner and sleepover.
Day 06: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
Start the day with a delightful breakfast and proceed for a day excursion to Gulmarg - “Meadow of Flowers”. The striking hill station is renowned for the world’s highest green golf course and Gondola Lifts. The green meadows offer wonderful views of Nanga Parbat, about 26,000 feet high, which dominates the entire region. Later, you’ll head back to Srinagar for night’s rest.
Day 07: Srinagar - Pahalgam
After having a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you’ll journey to the next destination of the tour - Pahalgam, a hill resort in the Kashmir Valley. On your way, you’ll pass through pine forests and visit the saffron fields. A quick check-in at the hotel will be followed by an adventurous session of outdoor activities, such as trekking, horse riding, white water rafting, skiing, sledging and fishing. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: Pahalgam - Srinagar Departure
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Soon after, you’ll embark a journey back to Srinagar. Here, you’ll be dropped at the airport to board a flight for onward journey.
