Day 01: Arrival at Leh
Upon your arrival at Leh Airport, you’ll be received by our representative who’ll accompany you to the hotel for a quick check in. Thereafter, you’ll proceed for a short sightseeing tour. Popular places include Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. If time permits, you can stroll through the market for shopping. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 02: Leh
After breakfast, a city tour will be organized. The first halt will be Sangam, the confluence of two mighty rivers - Zanskar and Indus. Next, you’ll visit two famous monasteries, namely, Likir Monastery and Alchi Monastery. A visit to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara will also be done. Dinner and night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley
Post morning meal, you’ll be driven to Nubra Valley via Khardung La. By afternoon, you’ll reach Diskit Village and make a check-in at the hotel. Freshen up and get ready to explore the surrounding areas including Diskit, Hunder Village and camel safari in the sand dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 04: Nubra Valley - Leh
Early in the morning, you’ll visit the famed Diskit Monastery. Henceforth, you’ll head back to Leh, en-route Khardung La. Upon arrival, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Night will be spent at the hotel.
Day 05: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
A full day excursion to Pangong Lake will be made. The drive will see you passing through Changla Pass, the third highest motor-able road in the world. By noon, you’ll reach Pangong Lake, the highest salt water lake in the World. Pangong Lake is shared by two countries - India and China. On your arrival, you’ll be served with either packed food or hot lunch. From the banks of Panging Lake, you can enjoy the beauty of the lake and the changing colors of the fascinating high altitude lake. You’ll then be driven back to Leh for overnight stay.
Day 06: Leh Departure
Morning breakfast will be followed by a drive to the airport to catch a flight for onward journey. This brings an end to the Wonders of Ladakh trip. Have a happy and safe journey!
